Day Two.

So yesterday was day two of internship, and I'm getting around to posting about it today. Mainly because I was exhausted when I got home yesterday and I don't start til 3pm today, which is good. Very good. Anyway, yesterday I showed up. I waited. Amy called me and said that she had gotten a flat tire on the way to intern, and she was so frustrated. I was just like, lawl it's the devil trying to keep you from getting here. And she said, "I WANNA KICK HIM IN THE FACE!" and I was all, "Well make it here and do it!" :D she made it. a little late, but better late than never, right? Anyway. First class was devotional life. I'd been following a daily devotional plan before internship (well, not really, I just picked random chapters to do my daily devotions on) and they gave us a new one. The normal SOAP plan. From the beginning. I get to do it all over again. Oh, p.s. SOAP stands for Scripture Observation Application Prayer. It's not something bad, so now you know :P So they had us all do our first day of SOAP right there. And then halfway through mine they're like "Btdubbs, you have to read these to the whole class when you're done." I about flipped a lid. Nervously I finished mine, but in the end we didn't have enough time to read them, HALLELUJAH! Haha. Also I feel like Pastor Jordan is thinking about all my weaknesses/fears that were on the paper we had to fill out Monday. I think he's trying to find way to help with them. And it's scary to know that he knows about them. But, oh wells. So after that we had "Life of Honor" class with Pastor Jack, and it was awesome! It really got me thinking too. I need to try to honor more. Just the way he said things. Like when you do something contrary to the Word, you're dishonoring God and people (Which means to treat them as common or ordinary) and it really frustrated me. When you dishonor people, you dishonor God. When you dishonor God, you dishonor people. It's just how it works. But when you honor God, it's always followed by His supernatural power. If honoring Him gets you in a sticky situation, He'll be the one to take care of it because you honored Him. Good stuff. So, that's one thing to work on. We headed to lunch afterwards. I got to know some people a little more. Like Ashley. And I got some coffee which was much needed. So then, we were supposed to go to TCO (turnaround community outreach) to do some stuff for them. But I guess this is still orientation week, so we stayed at the church. I got to help set stuff up in the new youth room and then they put me on graphics. I edited the baptism video that we'll be watching in youth tomorrow, and it was exciting! I love editing, and I'll be learning more this year since I'm in graphics for the rest of these 9 months. So yeah. Then after that was done, I was going to learn lights but surprisingly the day was over. I was kind of amazed. It went by quick. So that was day two of internship. And I'm ready for today. It'll be from 3-9 plus there's church tonight. Should be exciting.
